You can go to http://www.cagesbydesign.com and click on the reptile hybrid cage tab to get to the cage designer. you can customize the cage any way you want! it is sooooooooo awesome!!!!!! lol. And I hope your female mhd pulls through its tough to loose a reptile.

A basking bulb emits UVA. You need UVB as well for the entire tank to act as sunlight for 12-14 hours of the day. I am not familiar with that type of bulb, but I use Reptisun. It has both UVA and UVB in it.

2. green-chorophyll

3. different pigments

4. fall b/c colder temps break down chlorophyll

Yes, you can use 4 lamps on an aquarium, with out an issue, I suggest you start with stock lighting and see what you have to upgrade after you get a little more established.

Excellent answer.

The detail of the retina was accurate and everything was well worded to keep it simple. Especially for the 8th grade, it is a good answer. However, you way want to include a little bit more about the light "spectrum". Other than that, very good.
